It is no secret that the English Department is among the most important departments in the College of Education. This is evident from the large number of students admitted annually, which is many times greater than the number admitted to other departments in the college. Our department boasts a distinguished teaching and administrative staff, which positively impacts the academic level of our students. The department provides ample resources to support our students, helping them reach the highest levels and preparing them to become teachers, university professors, and even successful mothers. Furthermore, our students receive psychological and educational guidance through specialized committees to help them overcome any difficulties they may face. In addition to engaging our students in scientific debates, competitions, theatrical and field activities, and various events and activities that strengthen their personalities, we aim to cultivate them into pioneers in society and distinguished leaders with refined and noble minds, enabling them to serve their children and the community as a whole.

I must also express my gratitude to the University President, represented by Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultan, the senior university staff, and the Dean of the College, represented by Professor Dr. Iman Samir Bahya, for their unwavering support of our department. They spare no effort in providing assistance, both materially and morally, to nurture generations characterized by broad imagination and fertile intellect.
